Three Simple and Critical Questions for Better Church Outreach
Three Simple and Critical Questions for Better Church Outreach
At Mission of Hope, Inc., we believe that there are three critical pieces of the ministry puzzle. For a congregation to become an outreach-oriented church, these three pieces must be in place. These are the building blocks that will cultivate a culture that encourages evangelistic movement.
- Question 1: Does your church believe, honor, and follow biblical teachings?
- Question 2: Does your church love the community and long for its people to know Jesus?
- Question 3: Are the people in your church willing to sacrifice to the point of joyfully embracing change?
To cultivate a culture of organic outreach in your congregation, you are required to make calculated changes to orient your vision and practices around the Great Commission. Outreach can’t only be a committee’s work or an annual weekend emphasis. It’s also not enough to give money to missionaries or pray for others to reach out to nations.
Outreach must be interlaced into a church’s culture and ministry. When a church embeds evangelistic passion onto its ministry, outreach will become more than just a program.
This will only happen if you make sacrificial changes, and these changes mean we must be more like our Lord Jesus Christ.
